To the ends of the Earth…

Before Jesus’ ascension, he looked at his followers and told them to go spread the Gospel to all people. Here at SLO City, we are taking that commission seriously.

Ensenada, Mexico (Baja)

May 21-26, 2026

Join us as we return to Ensenada, Mexico to partner once again with Baja Bound, an incredible organization dedicated to building homes in impoverished communities. Last year, our team had an unforgettable experience. We built an entire home from the ground up, visited a local orphanage, and spent time serving at an elderly home. This year, we’re going back to do it all again!

This is a hands-on, meaningful mission trip that makes a real impact, and it’s perfect for families. Kids are welcome, and they had an amazing time serving alongside their parents last year. We can take up to 30 people, so spots are limited.

The trip is also very safe. We stay in a gated community right on the beach along the Baja strip, allowing our team to rest well and build community together.

The application below helps us form the best possible team for this trip. Filling it out does not guarantee a spot. It simply lets us know you’re interested and helps us share more information with you about the trip.

This is an experience you don’t want to miss. Come build, serve, grow, and be part of something truly special.

Istanbul, Turkey

May 9-19, 2026

We are forming a team of 12 young adult professionals for a unique and deeply meaningful discipleship-focused mission trip to Istanbul and Izmir, Turkey. This trip is not for kids and is designed specifically for spiritually mature believers who are ready to engage in ministry within a Muslim cultural context.

We will be led by and partnering closely with our international missions partners in Turkey, who have long-standing relationships and deep cultural understanding in these regions. Their leadership will guide our ministry, help us engage wisely and respectfully, and ensure that what we do is truly relational, sustainable, and impactful.

Our team will be split into two groups of six. One team will spend time in Istanbul, a historic city that bridges Europe and Asia, rich with cultural, religious, and relational complexity. The other team will serve in Izmir, a beautiful coastal city along the Aegean Sea known for its diverse population and relational openness. Though in different locations, both teams will be united by the same mission and purpose.

This will be a highly relational trip centered on listening, learning, and walking alongside people. Team members will teach classes or seminars based on their areas of expertise and then follow up with Turkish individuals to hear their stories, build trust, and have thoughtful conversations about faith.

Because of the nature of this trip, space is limited and the application process is intentional. Filling out an application does not guarantee a spot. It simply lets us know you are interested and helps us discern the best team for this experience. We are looking for participants who are confident in their faith, comfortable sharing it in a Muslim context, and open to being stretched spiritually, culturally, and relationally.

This is an immersive discipleship and relationship-building experience. If you are longing be part of what God is doing in this part of the world, this trip may be for you!
